XSI Batch & Batch Universal

XSI Batch rendering products are optimized to harness the power of XSI Advanced for rendering.

XSI Batch

Each XSI Batch license is like a full copy of XSI Advanced without the user interface, and enables up to 2 CPUs per licensed workstation for batch rendering and processing tasks like:

• Rendering native XSI scene files (.scn) directly from the command line using xsi -r.
  
  
• Batch processing with command line scripts, using xsi -script.
  
  Common examples of batch processing include batch rendering XSI scene data, batch rendering large composites, importing and exporting large data sets, or any computation-intensive or repetitive task that does not require manual intervention.
  
  
• Generating mental ray .mi files from XSI scenes.

Both batch rendering and batch processing may run on individual machines or on a networked render-farm.

XSI Batch Universal

XSI Batch Universal takes it a step farther by providing all the functionality of XSI Batch plus two mental ray licenses. So you can use it to render native XSI scenes or mental images .mi files—whatever the job demands.
